  • Tax Deductible Donations to LAP
    Updated On: Dec 11, 2023

    LAP Members and Vendors,

Thank you for your trust in, and partnership with, the Labor Assistance Professionals (LAP) in our shared work of helping members of our community receive substance use and mental health services. As we reflect on the last year, we are proud of our growth. New members continue to join our mission demonstrating commitment to improving our brothers’ and sisters’ lives. This growth has allowed us to positively impact the people and communities we serve.

As LAP reflects upon its past, we also look forward toward the future. Thanks to the UAW negotiating team, President Shawn Fain, and Vice President Richard Boyer, we are excited about increasing our membership in 2024 with Stellantis as part of the recent successful UAW contract. We are also excited to announce our annual LAP conference in July will convene at a new location, the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel, celebrating our 30th in person conference.

Lastly, we want to highlight that the LAP National organization recently became certified as a 501(c)(3) public charity allowing for individual donations to be tax deductible. This is an exciting change for our organization to grow and consider new ways to increase our visibility, strengthen our flexibility to meet the needs of our members, including offering continuing education, and support policy changes that improve substance use and mental health services in our communities. Considering this change, we ask that you consider making a monetary donation to support LAP. Donations of any size help strengthen our ability to invest in a vibrant and thriving community for our members.

After considering a tax-deductible donation, please visit our donation page on the LAP website. You can either use the link above or access the menu link at the top of the website main page.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

We look forward to another exciting year and thank you for supporting our vital work.

    Sincerely,

    Jimmy Angyal
